Dan grew up in Warren and has called Waterford home for the past three decades. Dan graduated from Harper Woods Notre Dame High School in 1976 and earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University in 1980. He earned his law degree from Wayne State University Law School in 1985. Dan is a Certified Case Evaluator for Oakland County and is certified by the State Bar of Michigan.

Dan is active in First Tee of Southeast Michigan and the Tom Kowalski Foundation assisting children with serious medical needs. He is an assistant coach for Oakland Community College Men’s Golf Team and is a presiding Judge with the Michigan High School Mock Trial Competition.
Away from work, Dan enjoys traveling, participating in sports, and reading.
